Poker still continues at the Weav'. However it is no longer documented online. The contact for poker action is Ed Companion, and the action is still fierce and the Danza Cup is still fought for.

As the runner of this website, and co-founder of the four year venture, Jason Piche thanks all who particpated in a weekly staple for fun and friends with a side of poker!

"Little Gene" Comes Up Big!

Gene Gagne III became the 36th different winner in WPT history by hanging around and striking at the right times. After taking down Jason Piche in his last WPT event, Gene stormed over Tyler Charbonneau for the victory. The game also saw an early departure from Shannon Spaulding who was burned by a signature Pich' 8's over 4's full house. Aaron Stata also through well-rested-ness to the wind by playing. It's unsure if the WPT will stay in action. It's all up to Ed and whomever joins him in the Weav'!

When I first moved into The Weav' a bunch of us were getting in to poker. It just made sense to take our Monday night gathering (which used to be reserved for WWE Raw) and add poker! Aaron Stata came up with an idea for a points series which was also perfected by Justin St. Louis. With that and regular play the WPT grew in to what is today!

Over the years we've borrowed chips, table tops, and even recieved free air conditioners! One of the things that's always made the WPT great is the people who play. They are the life blood of the product in so many ways! Thanks to all who have participated!

The WPT is back on Monday nights at 8pm. Hopefully play can start no later than 8:30. If you're going to come but might be late call ahead and reserve your seat, or the game can always wait a few minutes to start. Hope to see you all at The Weav' Poker Tour very soon!!

The WPT logo has been blatently ripped off from the World Poker Tour, but they gave it their blessing with different colors so I changed it to green and gold after about a 100 games. It just so happened that Weav' Poker Tour had the same initials. Oh well! Anyhow keep in mind that these money figures aren't real. It's just our way of keeping track of who does well. No real money exchanges hands ever at our games. *winks
