Working at UVM

Here's what I did in Vermont at the University. I hope to work more on updating this section soon. Scope the Bradley Center page for more on my current employer.

I worked at UVM in the Athletic Department from November 2001 to August 2008. I, most recently, was a Maintenance Specialist working a shift from 7:00am-3:30pm Sunday-Thursday. I held many positions there in the department on every shift imaginable. I had always hoped that with all learned, and showed I could do that I would work my way into a supervisory role in our department. I had done everything else so it seemed the next logical step for the future. But alas my wanting to relocate along with the department's lack of supervisory positions led me to find such work elsewhere, and I ended up in Milwaukee at the Bradley Center. Over the years I gave alot back to a department, school, and state that have did so much for me. Working at the center of Vermont sports made it an awesome resource for my other old project (Talking Trash), but as I always said I was an employee first, fan second, and media member third. I'd say fan first, but since they paid the bills you've got to go employee first. Now that they don't I'm still all about the green and the gold even in Wisconsin but not for the beloved local Packers, but for the Catamounts of the University of Vermont. Go Cats Go!

I loved working at UVM and I've left the door cracked in case they build a new arena in the future and need someone with experience to help them run it. Maybe I'll be back, maybe I won't but either way it was a fun time!
