  • The co-host/producer of "Talking Trash" a sports talk show on VCAM channel 15 (public access) shown in 13 cities or towns LIVE from Burlington to the south. Also streams LIVE to the world via UStream. The show currently airs after a 2 1/2 year hiatus on VCAM back in it's old time slot. Scope the webpage on this site for more info!

  • Appeared on the Matty and Stetch Variety Hour on VCAM for an entire, and very interesting, show.  Normally this might not be an accomplishment but if you saw the show you'd understand.
  • Cameraman for an episode of "Street Signs."  A popular talk show on VCAM
  • Appeared in commercial for VCAM  and was the only one with a speaking part.  The commercial ran on local cable channels and can be seen at the VCAM website.

  • Quoted in March 21st 2005 Burlington Free Press front page article entitled " A great ride is over"  An article on the UVM Men's Basketball team's final game of the season.  A second round loss to Michigan St., an eventual Final Four participant.

  • Scored 4 goals, including the first goal of the game, in the UVM Fac/Staff 10th annual Hockey Classic (Dec. 2006) earning one of the Itech 6-Stars!
  • Flipped the #84 Junkyard Warrior at the 2004 Milk Bowl
  • Got my picture taken with NHL MVP Martin St. Louis and the Stanley Cup (2004)
  • Helped UVM host training camp for the New York Rangers and the Boston Celtics
  • Was named Co-MVP of the UVM Athletics Fac/Staff softball game in my 1st game going 5 for 5 (2002)

  • Competed (and lost) against Martin Kilmes at halftime of the Catamount Tip-Off '05 in a game of Around the World.
  • Coached CHS JV football team as assistant coach in the 97-98 season, and also assisted the varsity team.
  • Won the Tony Danza Memorial Cup three times, and the 1st ever Donald H. Piche Memorial Trophy (awarded to winner of "The Big Game"), and finished with 15 wins on the Weav' Poker Tour which I hosted and Co-founded with Aaron Stata.

  • WIBC Mixed League Champion in 2001-02 (Bowling) as part of the Dark Street Dawgs with Aaron Stata, Tracy Cook, and Karl Gilbeau.
  • Part of Championship teams at the Hoehl Spring Basketball Classic at the Boys and Girls Club in 2005, and 2007
  • Captured the '05 edition of the Outside Groove/Crystal Graffix end of NASCAR Season Party, Poker Tournament.
  • Part of the winning team at BeedCard Bowl I.  I had three touchdowns and three interceptions in the win!  
  • Member of the first Colchester High School football team and then first varsity team the next year.  Was the first reciever to catch a pass for a touchdown at Colchester High School (junior year), Then lead in yards, TD's, and catches in my senior year.  (Played as #84)
  • Zamboni Driver at the Pettit National Ice Center during the '09 -'10 season.  Made speed skating ice for the members of the 2010 US Olympic Speed Skating Team including 2 time Gold Medalist, Shani Davis
  •  Zamboni driver for the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals during the '08-'09 season.  Ads were 8-6-1 including the post-season when Pich' drove.

    Worthy Attendances

  • Attended the 2005 Final Four in St. Louis by myself (it was an adventure) During which I became the first man to ever wear the full UVM uniform at the Final Four and Championship game.
  • Saw the Orlando Magic in their first season (1989) and several times since
  • Attended Piche Bowl XIII in Buffalo as the Broncos defeated the Bills 28-17 to clinch a playoff spot. Later attended Piche Bowl XIV, the season opener in Buffalo, and the Broncos won with a field goal as time was running out.

  • Attended the 2007 NEISMA Convention representing UVM's Gutterson Fieldhouse
  • Attended game one of the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals in Montreal (Although the Habs lost that game they went on to win the next four and the Stanley Cup thanks in large part to Vermonter, and former Catamount, John LeClair.)
  • Attended Wrestlemania 11, and many other wrestling events.
  • Was "Kitty Catamount" at the 2003 America East Championship game from Boston University that was live on ESPN.  UVM won the game for their first trip to the NCAA Tournament and we stormed the court!

  • Took in the final home game ever for the Montreal Expos in 2004.
  • Attended the 1999 Citrus bowl between Peyton Manning's Tennesee Volunteers and Eddie George's Ohio State Buckeyes
  • Attended every home game for UVM Men's basketball, from 2001 through 2005.  Also I've been to nine America East Men's Tournaments (2003-'11), and two NCAA tournaments for Catamounts basketball ('04 & '05).  One of 4 men who can claim to have been present at UVM's only two post-season tournament wins (NCAA: Worcester, MA -2005  CBI: Green Bay, WI - 2009)
  • Attended final game of the Milwaukee Brewers 2008 regular season after which they clinched the Wild Card spot to make the playoffs for the first time in 26 years!  About a week later I also attended game 3 of the NLDS between the Brewers and Phillies.  It was the only game the crew won during the series
  • Attended the NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament in Albany in 1996 and in Worcester, MA in 1997. In '96 the Catamounts defeated Lake Superior State to advance to their first ever Frozen Four!
  • A season ticket holder for the spring NASCAR race at Dover International Speedway, its a usual part of my yearly trip planning.

  • On April 11th, 2008 as the Bucks hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder, The Pich' completed his goal of seeing all 30 NBA franchises!
  • Attended 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament in South Bend, Indiana as Notre Dame hosted Vermont in the second round.
  • Attended the first round of the 2010 NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament in St. Paul, Minnesota (Northern Michigan Vs. St. Cloud St. & Wisconsin Vs. Vermont)
  • Attended Brewers opening day 3 straight times from 2009-2011
  • Misc. Accomplishments

  • Graduated High School '97 at Colchester High School in Vermont
  • Won the 2004 NCAA Basketball Video Game Tournament at The University of Vermont.
  • Defeated legendary racer Chuck Beede in a game of NASCAR Thunder 2005
  • Defeated superb amature golfer Sean Toof in the first ever Chip-In-Challenge at the BeedCard.
  • Won five straight races at the Champlain Valley Fair in the MASCARR tent.  (Remote controlled NASCARs) Along the way defeating such Thunder Road racing names as: Tiger drivers Carey Henry, Rachel Beede and former Street Stock legends Eddy Companion and Justin St. Louis.
  • Named Wal-Mart Rookie Associate of the Month for Foods in September '05
  • Runner-up in 2004 Madden Tournament at UVM
  • Accepted the "Leading Vision Award" on behalf of the University of Vermont Athletic Department in 2005.  The award still is on display in the main athletic offices.
  • Won $1000 for the Burlington Boys and Girls Club by winning a free throw contest during the 2010 America East Tournament in Hartford, Connecticut

    • Known as UVMSuperfan84 on Ebay The Pich' achieved his purple star for over 500 transactions.  He currently sits at over 600 and has been a member since Jul. 2002!
    • Won a "Dance-Off" at the Milwaukee Bucks game Vs. the New Jersey Nets in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 7th, 2010

    • Was the special guest celebrity puck dropper for the 2nd Annual Summer Classic featuring UVM Alums such as NHLers Torrey Mitchell and Jamie Seifers and several other AHL, ECHL, and overseas stars of Catamount past!

    This is all the stuff I've done that I'm most proud of.  Even if some of it simply involved me showing up.  These are the reasons I get up in the morning, and the types of thrills and moments I always strive to have.
